Özet:

Şemseddin-i Sivâsî is a sufi who lived in the sixteenth century. Sivasi is the founder of the Şemsiyye branch of the Halvetiyye sect. Sivasi is a person of heart who has been active with his works, his students, his relations with state officials, his services to society and his mystical thought. The thesis on this person, who draws attention with his influence in his period and today, consists of an introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the subject, purpose and method of the research are mentioned, under the title of evaluation of sources, the works of Sivâsî, the work of Receb-i Sivâsî named Necmü'l-Hüdâ, tabat and history studies, studies about Sivâsî. A general information about the sources of the thesis is presented by presenting information on various studies. Again, after revealing the political, economic, scientific, literary and mystical situation of the sixteenth century in which Sivasi lived, in the first part, Shams' name and pseudonym, place and date of birth, family and childhood, marriage and children, scientific and spiritual course data is shared. After sharing the data about Sivasi's sheikhs, after mentioning the Halvetiyye sect, which he was a follower of the Şemsiyye branch he established and various discussions on this subject, twenty-four caliphs and their activities, whose lives are more or less known, are given. After a holistic evaluation on his scientific and literary personality, a comprehensive presentation was made about his twenty-four works. The first chapter has been concluded by blending the information about the Meydan Mosque and tomb, which Sivasi had been operating until his death, and conveying it with a critical eye. In the second part, Sivasi's mystical views are discussed in terms of tahalluk and accrual. In this section, the sources of Sivasi's thought system, the transfers of the names that influenced his ideas and that we predicted to be influenced by Shams are included.
