Şeftali (Prunus persica) çekirdeklerinden ekstre edilen siyanojenik glikozitlerin bazı amino asitler ile in vitro etkileşimi

In this study, the interaction between amino asids (alanine, valine, cysteine, methionine and lysine), building blocks of proteins, and the cyanogenic glycosides that found in some fruit seeds (peach, apricot and plum) and plants (barley, wheat and maize) was investigated. Peach seeds were- homogenized in acetate buffer. The homogenate was centrifuged and the supernatant was filtered before applying onto LH-60 Sephadex chromatography gel filtration. The samples showing an absorption peak at 210 nm were collected among the samples obtained from chromatography column, and were incubated with the amino acids that mentioned earlier. Following incubation the thin layer chromatography was applied and the Rf values of the amino acids were determined. Our results revealed no in vitro interaction between cyanogenic glycosides and amino acids. Key words: Primus persica, amygdalin, leatrile, linamarin. IV
