Abstract:

In this study titled ''Evaluation of Diyanet's 4-6 Year Old Quran Courses Education in Terms of Parents' Expectations (Sivas Province Example)'', we examine the education, curriculum, student characteristics in the 4-6 age group Quran Courses study, 4-6 age group Quran Courses study. The opinions of parents who send their students to courses will be discussed from various aspects. In the changing world order, there has recently been a need for religious education at an early age throughout the world. Such a research topic was preferred in order to contribute to meeting this need. In addition, the expectations of the parents who sent their students to the 4-6 age group Quran Courses, the reasons for their preference, and the opportunities and problems of the education provided here for the students, parents and instructors were examined by taking the opinions of the parents. As a result of the investigations, findings were obtained. Briefly, as a result of the findings, most of the parents who participated in the research stated that they were satisfied with the Quran courses for 4-6 year olds and that they did not have any problems in reaching the courses. It has been observed that teachers are pedagogically incompetent. Studies should be carried out to eliminate the deficiency in this area. It has been observed that the instructors carry out their duties with great devotion. Tutors emphasized the importance of parent support. In short, it has been stated that Quran courses for 4-6 year olds are very beneficial for parents, teachers and students. However, it must be constantly updated to have a dynamic structure..
