Abstract:

Problem solving skills means adapting, developing solutions, applying them and thus eliminating the problem of the individual in case of the individual encounters a problem. This research was conducted to determine the functionality in terms of having get the problem solving skills of professional lessons taught in the Anatolian imam hatip high schools where vocational religious education is conducted at secondary level in our country. Nowadays, it is known that people encounter more problems despite the abundance of financial means. However there are many principles to solve these problems in the Islamic religious which aims to make people happy both in the world and in the hereafter. However, there is not enough research that deals with how to benefit from these principles to get that skill acquired. Therefore, problem solving skills were chosen for research among the skills that targeted to be achieved. In the research, information was given about problem solving skills, youth period features and problems, principles related to problem solving of the Islam, Anatolian imam hatip high schools and vocational lessons, it is analyzed by document analysis the functionality in terms of having achieved the problem solving skills of professional lessons and teaching programs. Afterwards it was tried to be determined to what extent of having teachers get the competency in solving problems in terms of the scale applied to teachers, attainment levels for goal to get the problem solving skill in the vocational lessons of students in terms of the scale applied to Anatolian imam hatip high school 11th and 12th grade students. As a result of research, it was detected that the functionality of the textbooks and teaching programs is partially sufficient, proficiency levels of having vocational lessons teachers get the competency in solving problems are high, attainment levels for goal to get the problem solving skill of students in the vocational lessons are high.
