Project Abstract

Today, different beliefs, extraordinary trends attract attention by different masses in the society, and these beliefs are popular for different reasons. Spiritualism is one of the movements that emerged in the 19th century. Spiritualism associated with reincarnation is a belief or way of thinking that has many followers in the world and in our country. In spiritualism, which is based on the principle of connection with souls, the aim is the consciousness of duty and evolution.

Man was not sent to the world without purpose. Although anyone who accepts or rejects reincarnation agrees on this issue, there is no consensus on what this goal is. Spiritualism maintains that it is a normal occurrence to come back into the world over and over until the soul evolves and reaches the highest spiritual level and claims that the purpose of creation is to achieve this evolution. In our research on Spiritualism, which does not even consider the belief that resurrection in the hereafter and giving account to God, we have discussed the foundations of Spiritualism, the views of Bedri Ruhselman, one of the leading names of this view in our country, and we tried to reveal the meaning expressed by these views in the context of the problem of immortality.
