Özet

Wound healing is a complex and dynamic process of replacing devitalized and missing cellular structures and tissue layers. EGF is a polypeptide which consists of 53 amino acids having mytogenic activity. EGF binds to specific cell surface receptors to provide receptor dimerization which is necessary for tyrosine kinase activity and cell proliferation. Hydrogel formulations were prepared with chitosan and PVA. Chitosan has several advantages such as biodegradability, biological activity and non- toxicity
