Özet

Aspergillus niger pathogen, which infects plants and foods, causes serious diseases and crop losses. Aflatoxins, especially produced as secondary metabolites by these species, are powerful toxins that harm human health. It was observed that AgNPs synthesized from the seeds of the Allium sativum plant by the green synthesis method exhibited high antifungal properties even at low doses. This shows that green synthesized AgNPs may be an alternative way to protect plants and foods and also to increase plant resistance.
