This study aimed to reveal the relationship between spiritual well-being of individuals with non-communicable physical diseases and their life satisfaction and medication adherence. 821 individuals with at least one non-communicable disease were included in this descriptive and correlational study. Study confirmed that the patients’ satisfaction with life improves in parallel with the increase in their spiritual well-being, and spiritual well-being explains 12% of the total variance in the satisfaction with life (p < 0.01). It was further observed that participants with high motivation and knowledge levels in terms of medication adherence had higher spiritual well-being levels, and spiritual well-being explained 2% of the motivation sub-dimension and 3% of the knowledge sub-dimension of medication adherence (p < 0.05). It is therefore recommended for health care professionals to take into account the spiritual well-being levels of individuals and to take supportive initiatives in order to support their satisfaction with life and the management of non-communicable diseases.
