In terms of the most comprehensive duties, authorities and activities in the field of migration management in Türkiye, the Ministry of Interior and the Directorate of Migration Management under the Ministry of Interior stand out. In addition to the Directorate of Migration Management, the Ministry of National Education has the “Department of Education in Migration and Emergency Situations”, the Ministry of Health has the “Department of Migration Health Services”, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security has the “Directorate General for International Labor Force” and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has the “Directorate General for Migration, Asylum and Visa”. The Ministry of Family and Social Services, which does not have any administrative unit within the ministry organization but develops various policies, projects and services for all migrants and foreigners under temporary protection, is also a ministry actively involved in migration management. Another dimension where the significant and devastating effects of migration can be seen is in the field of culture. In this field, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture should be seen as an actor in the migration management process. Finally, there is a serious lack of projects and activities of ministries such as the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in the field of migration. In this study, the roles of Turkish ministries in the migration management process and the units dealing with migration management in the administrative structure are evaluated in detail. After identifying problematic areas, recommendations are presented.
