The postpartum period is a process that directly affects productivity in sheep farming. During this time, protecting reproductive health and preventing metabolic diseases are of critical importance for the continuity of production. The postpartum process in sheep involves the stages of uterine involution, the resumption of ovarian cyclic activity, and the regeneration of the endometrium. Reproductive diseases that occur during this period can delay the completion of these stages within physiological timeframes. Additionally, certain issues, especially metabolic diseases, are more commonly observed in older sheep and those with multiple pregnancies. Consequently, the health of sheep should be closely monitored during the postpartum period, with timely diagnosis and treatment. The management of diseases during this period directly impacts the general health and reproductive performance of the sheep.
