Özet

Abstract – Monitoring purified water quality is an important issue for hospitals, dialysis centers and chemical laboratories. The quality of purified water in dialysis centers is crucial, and the accuracy of tests conducted in medical laboratories relies on the quality of the purified water. According to these factors related to water quality also accrue economic expenses, the development of a real-time conductivity monitoring system has become necessary. Water quality measurement is affected by some various such as bacterial count, pH level, chemical content, turbidity, and conductivity. All aqueous solutions conduct electricity to some degree. In addition, minerals, salts, acids or bases are also increases conductivity of purified water. In this study, an internet-of-things based real-time purified water conductivity measurement system is presented. The conductivity is measured by the resistance of purified water. Therefore, the purified water can only conduct a limited amount of electric current. The working principle of the conductivity sensor is calculated by measuring the current passing between two distinct parallel plates placed in the liquid and the resistance level measured accordingly. Subsequently, the calculated conductivity value is processed with our embedded system card and transmitted to our server computer via http protocol. During the development process of IoT based embedded board design an ESP32 microcontroller is selected. A new embedded system software is development during the implementation of the measurement system, and the data collected from the conductivity sensor is safely transmitted to the web server.
