A wastewater characterization was performed on the end-pipe 2-h composite samples originating from a small scale organized industrial estate located in Sivas (SOIE), in the North east Turkey. A wastewater management strategy was developed. Due to varied wastewater flow and characteristics, chemical coagulation was evaluated as pretreatment to comply with the discharge limits.
