Özet

Source body magnetization direction of the structures causing magnetic and gravity anomalies can be estimated with some accuracy. In this paper, a further improved method is presented for this purpose. The method searches for maximum correlation between pseudogravity and gravity anomalies. The method is successfully tested with synthetic models without error and with including some error into the data locations. The method is also applied to a field data in Central Turkey, which demonstrates successful pseudogravity transformation with newly estimated angle of body magnetization. © 2003 Elsevier Ltd.
