Zoonotic agents consist 61% of all pathogens that causes human diseases. Zoonotic diseases, therefore, have two fold importance than rest of all other diseases. As well as affecting directly both human and animal health zoonotic diseases cause indirect effects by effecting consumption of animal products adversly by people. Potential use of zoonoses as biological weapon increases its importance. Among small ruminants sheep and goat have a important role in contamination of some zoototic diseases to humans in Turkey. Various agents that cause abortus in sheep and goat cause infections in humans also. In this review, informations was given about the widespread diseases that both cause abortus in sheep and goat and transmite to human from animals.
