In this study, it was aimed to prepare characterization studies such as preparing chitosan nanoparticles
containing indenopyrazole derivatives, which were previously synthesized and characterized and bioactive
potentials were determined, and measuring the encapsulation efficiency, particle size and zeta potential.
Nanoparticles were prepared by ionic gelation method using chitosan and tripoly phosphate (TPP). The zeta
potentials and particle sizes of the nanoparticles were measured in the Malvern Zeta Sizer. In order to calculate
the encapsulation efficiency in nanoparticles, the absorbance of the indenopyrazole derivative samples at 278
nm wavelength was measured with a UV-visible spectrophotometer and spectral curve equations were formed.
The zeta potential, size and encapsulation efficiency results of chitosan nanoparticles containing
indenopyrazole derivatives are shown in Table 1. According to the results, the NP3 formulation containing the
HZ4 coded derivative showed the highest encapsulation efficiency.
