It is known that many cultural heritages such as inns, hammams, caravanserais, zawiyas, madrasahs have been abandoned and entered the process of demolition in time as a result of their functional obsolescence and non-functional. Historical buildings such as mosques, bedestens, bazaars are remarkable in a way that they reach from past to present by providing functional continuity. The aim of this study is to present a "re-using" method to take a precaution against non-functioning and the demolition of cultural heritage needing preservation. In addition, it is aimed to mention the benefits and the potential negative consequences of re-using. In this context, the example of Edirne Deveci Inn is examined, and firstly Deveci Inn is described with its general characteristics and the architectural characteristics of the inn are described. Then, the advantages and disadvantages of its new function are analysed and the new function is evaluated. As a conclusion, although the re-using project has acceptable negative effects, it is seen to be generally successful.
