Özet
Magnetic nanoparticles have received significant attention owing to their distinct physicochemical properties, including large surface area, superparamagnetic behavior, tunable surface chemistry, and easy magnetic separation. Such features have made them very potential materials for trace element detection, quantification, separation, and a wide range of applications in technology. This review provides a comprehensive framework describing how the physicochemical properties of magnetic nanoparticles govern their harvesting, quantitative determination, synthesis strategies, and surface engineering, ultimately determining their performance in biomedical, catalytic, and environmental applications. Rather than considering these topics independently, the review highlights the relationships between nanoparticle design, analytical characterization, and application-specific functionality. Particular emphasis is placed on the influence of particle size, surface chemistry, magnetic properties, and functionalization on harvesting efficiency, quantification accuracy, and application performance. And its functionalization allows for selective ligand binding of target analytes as well as enhanced detection range and separation performance. By and large, multifunctional magnetic nanoparticles are diverse in applications, as a platform for sensitive detection, quantitation and remediation purposes. Ongoing developments in the synthesis of the compounds due to developments of surface modification and analytical techniques will likely expand their applications in the environment, bioengineering and industry.
