The aim of this study is to determine the knowledge level of students enrolled in the health management department regarding the ethical use of information technologies. The study is a descriptive and crosssectional research. The sample of the study consists of 151 students studying in the Health Management Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at a state university who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. In the study, the "Socio-Demographic Information Form" and the "Information Technologies Ethical Use Scale" were used as data collection instruments. Research data were collected between April 1 and May 1, 2026, through online and face-to-face survey forms. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, and ANOVA test were used in the analysis of the data. Of the students who participated in the study, 78.8% were female, 40,4% were in the 21-22 age range, 28.5% were in their 4th year, 41.7% had an average daily information technology usage time of 5 hours or more, 62.2% primarily used information technologies for social media, and 81.5% stated that they paid attention to ethical principles when using information technologies. The students' mean score on the information technology ethical use scale is 4.04, the mean score for the ethical awareness subscale is 3.93, the mean score for the communication and respect subscale is 4.08, the mean score for the cybercrimes subscale is 4.38, and the mean score for the intellectual property subscale is 3.55. The ethical use of information technologies shows a significant difference according to students' grade level (p=0.049), the level of impact of information technologies on daily life (p=0.009), and the status of paying attention to ethical principles when using information technologies (p=0.020) (p<0.05). In this study, it was determined that the level of ethical use of information technologies among health management department students is generally high.
