Bu çalışmanın amacı, D8 Grubu (Bangladeş, Endonezya, İran, Malezya, Mısır, Nijerya, Pakistan Türkiye) ülkelerinin 2021-2022 dönemi için makroekonomik performanslarını değerlendirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda beş adet makroekonomik performans kriteri belirlenmiştir. Bu kriterler güncel literatüre paralel olarak seçilmiştir. Söz konusu kriterler GSYİH, İşsizlik, Enflasyon, Sefalet Endeksi ve Kişi Başına Düşen GSYİH olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada performans analizi için kriter ağırlıklandırmada objektif ağırlıklandırma grubunda olan Entropi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Performans sıralama yönteminde ise Aras yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada yapılan analiz sonuçlarına bakıldığında, Entropi yönteminin sonuçlarına göre incelenen dönemde (2021-2022) en önemli ağırlığa sahip ilk üç kriter sırasıyla Enflasyon, Sefalet Endeksi ve Kişi Başına Düşen GSYİH olarak tespit edilmiştir. Performans sıralaması sonuçlarına bakıldığında ise Aras yöntemi sonuçlarına göre incelenen dönem için (2021-2022) en iyi makroekonomik performansı sağlayan ilk üç ülkenin sırasıyla Malezya Bangladeş ve Endonezya olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to assess the macroeconomic performance of the D8 Group (Bangladesh, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey) countries for the period 2021-2022. For this purpose, five macroeconomic performance criteria were identified. These criteria are chosen in line with the current literature. These criteria are GDP, Unemployment, Inflation, Misery Index and GDP per capita. In the study, the Entropy method, which is in the objective weighting group, is used in criterion weighting for performance analysis. Aras method is used as the performance ranking method. Looking at the results obtained from the analysis, according to the results of the Entropy method, the first three criteria with the most important weight in the analyzed period (2021-2022) are determined as Inflation, Misery Index and GDP Per Capita, respectively. According to the results of the Aras method, the top three countries with the best macroeconomic performance for the period analyzed (2021-2022) are Malaysia, Bangladesh and Indonesia, respectively.
