Bibliometric Analyses in Data-Driven Decision-Making, ss.3-44, 2025 (Scopus)
Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative method used to assess knowledge production, diffusion, and impact through metrics such as citation counts, publication frequency, and co-authorship. This paper highlights the growing importance of bibliometric analysis in research management, policymaking, and academic publishing. From 2020 to 2024, there has been a notable rise in bibliometric studies. Bibliometric analyses offer valuable insights into research productivity and impact, providing a quantitative basis for evaluating scholarly influence across disciplines. However, factors like data quality, methodological limitations, and disciplinary differences can affect the accuracy and reliability of these metrics.
