The aim of this study was to examine the effects of different levels of dietary boron supplementation on live weight, feed intake, feed conversion ratio, carcass characteristics and some haematological, pathological and antioxidant parameters in Japanese quail exposed to stress by application of different stocking densities. A total of 720 day-old quail chicks were placed in cages with 75, 60 and 50 cm(2)/bird stocking density with three cages per treatment. All quail were fed for 6 weeks with 0, 25, 50 and 75 mg/kg boron-added basal diets.
