Biography

Fatih Kaburcuk received both the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, USA, in 2011 and 2014, respectively, all in electrical engineering. Since April 2020, he has been serving as an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Sivas, Turkey. During his graduate studies, he worked as a Research Assistant with Syracuse University and PPC-Belden Inc. in Liverpool, NY, USA. He worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO, USA in 2014. He joined the Erzurum Technical University in November 2015 and served as an Assistant Professor until May 2019. Dr. Kaburcuk is the Associated Editor for Applied Compuational Electromagnetic Society Journal. His research interests include numerical methods in electromagnetics, biological effect of electromagnetic radiation, finite-difference time-domain analysis of antennas and microwave devices.
